- Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and from A normal resting expiration inspire at a slow yet sufficient rate to rise the ball of the bottom of the spirometer
- It is best to perform an upright (i.e. Sitting) Position. Your doctor Or Therapist will advice you which position is best for you
- For a low Flow rate, inhale at a sufficient rate to raise only the ball in the first chamber while the second chamber ball while the third ball remains in the rest position. This position should be held as a long as possible
- If your doctor or Therapist has advised setting, follow his or her directions. You may select an inspiratory flow setting by turning spirometer to match the black numbers with the black arrow choose a setting that allow you to pull the ball to top of the spirometer
- For the higher flow rate, inhale at a rate sufficient to raise the first and second chamber ball while the third chamber ball remains in the rest positions. To go on the higher scale life all the three chamber ball in top position. Remove mouth piece & breath normally take break for exercise again. After exercise clean the mouth piece with clean water & keep it properly
